Maple Soy Garlic Salmon

Maple soy garlic salmon is one of the easiest and tastiest dishes to whip up. It's my go-to recipe when I have very limited time to prepare food!

ingredients.

Fish

  1. Salmon x 4 fillets (800g)

  2. Pink salt x 1 tsp

  3. White pepper powder x a few shakes

  4. Limes x 3-4

Sauce

  1. Light soy sauce x 3 tbsp

  2. Maple syrup x 2 tbsp (or honey)

  3. Sesame oil x 1 tbsp

  4. Minced garlic x 1 tbsp

  5. Red chilli pepper flakes x ½ tsp

  6. Shaoxing wine x 1 tbsp

  7. Water x 1 tbsp

how to cook.

1. Lightly score the salmon fillets. Squeeze the lime juice over the fillets, add 1 tsp pink salt and a few shakes of pepper, then massage the seasoning into the fish. Leave it to marinate for around 2-3 hours in the fridge.

2. Mix the sauce ingredients together.

3. Place the fish fillets in a baking pan and ladle the sauce evenly over the fish fillets.

4. Bake at 170 deg C for 25 minutes or until fish is fully cooked through.

5. Arrange the fish on a plate. Pour the sauce on the baking pan evenly over the cooked fish fillets.

6. You're done. Enjoy!

This dish goes really well with my Citrus Salad!
