Maple Soy Garlic Salmon
Maple soy garlic salmon is one of the easiest and tastiest dishes to whip up. It's my go-to recipe when I have very limited time to prepare food!
ingredients.
Fish
Salmon x 4 fillets (800g)
Pink salt x 1 tsp
White pepper powder x a few shakes
Limes x 3-4
Sauce
Light soy sauce x 3 tbsp
Maple syrup x 2 tbsp (or honey)
Sesame oil x 1 tbsp
Minced garlic x 1 tbsp
Red chilli pepper flakes x ½ tsp
Shaoxing wine x 1 tbsp
Water x 1 tbsp
how to cook.
1. Lightly score the salmon fillets. Squeeze the lime juice over the fillets, add 1 tsp pink salt and a few shakes of pepper, then massage the seasoning into the fish. Leave it to marinate for around 2-3 hours in the fridge.
2. Mix the sauce ingredients together.
3. Place the fish fillets in a baking pan and ladle the sauce evenly over the fish fillets.
4. Bake at 170 deg C for 25 minutes or until fish is fully cooked through.
5. Arrange the fish on a plate. Pour the sauce on the baking pan evenly over the cooked fish fillets.
6. You're done. Enjoy!
This dish goes really well with my Citrus Salad!
